MEMPHIS MILANO D’ANTIBES CABINET BY GEORGE J. SOWDEN (1981)

George J. Sowden is an English designer and project manager born in Leeds in 1942. He has worked for very big brands like Olivetti, Alessi, Rancillio, Swatch and Memphis Milano.
After graduating in architecture and art from Gloucestershire College in the 1960s, he moved to Italy where he joined Ettore Sottsaa. He created several limited edition objects for Memphis Milano.

This D’ANTIBES handcrafted painted wooden cabinet , created in 1981, has become one of MEMPHIS MILANO’s classics. It has two doors and shelves. It can be integrated into a modern interior as well as a classic one. Like all MEMPHIS MILANO products, it comes with a certificate of authenticity and a guarantee signed by the manufacturer.
