Mista is the term used to define the combination of several techniques used by the master glassmaker to create prestigious glass objects with particular characteristics: the balanced mix of several crafting techniques gives the final work a strong personality and enriches its identity.

Michela Cattai currently lives in Milan and attended the Accademia di Belle Arti. She was selected to participate in a collective exhibition at the Glass Museum in Murano. Despite her residence in Milan, her heart remained forever linked to Venice, where she decided to continue her studies on glass inside the Fornace (Kiln) to personally experiment with the practice of hand-blown glass. In April of 2017, Michela was invited to present her research on glass in an exhibition at the Italian Chamber of Deputies, in the Sala del Cenacolo, in Rome. Furthermore, she participated in various exhibitions, both personal and collective, and her works are displayed in private collections and international museums alike.
