Serge Mouille big Totem column lighting (1962) – GDTOT

This is a reissue of the iconic model created by French designer Serge Mouille in 1962. The descendants of Serge Mouille have resumed the production of these historic models in 1999 under the name of Serge Mouille Editions. It is a very careful handcraft production

Trained goldsmith Serge Mouille is always known for his extraordinary lighting designs. At the School of Applied Arts in Paris, he learned the art of goldsmithing and taught there later. In 1945, he opened his own workshop, where he designed railings, chandeliers and wall sconces. Commissioned by Jacques Adnet in 1953, Mouille designs lamps with increasing enthusiasm, which are characterized by large angular shapes and insects. His goal was to set the piece in motion with the kinetic and sculptural design of his lights..
